Peter wright anvil worth9/6/2023 How do I tell which anvil to use? It is dependent on the information you require to tell it. Most items can be done with a large solid mass of steel, which would be roughly the same size as the main face of a London pattern anvil will. One of the two horns found on European anvils is a round one that we most commonly associate with anvils, and the other is a triangular one found on the heel. London is no longer a typical pattern from the Roadrunner cartoons instead, it has a variety of looks. Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC 225/150 with the Thunderbolt AC/DC 225/150 on top of it. How do you tell if a good anvil is made out of brass or aluminum? Miller Challenger 172 is a good example of Miller’s. A good anvil is heavy, but not too heavy. There are a few things you can look for to determine if an anvil is good. An anvil is used by blacksmiths, jewelers, and other metalworkers. It is made of a hard metal, such as steel, and has a flat surface. How Can You Tell If An Anvil Is Good?Īn anvil is a tool that is used to shape metal. Wrought steel is typically used instead of cast iron. This is without a doubt the best anvil on the market. Peter Wright worked as a mechanic in Dudley, England, between 1704-1914. It was in 1852 that he invented the “solid anvil,” which he was the first to use to make all forged solid in one piece by using dies and turning it frequently under the hammer during the forging process, and it was also the first to be made up of a number of different So, the answer to the question “are Peter Wright anvils good?” is “it depends.” It depends on your needs and your budget. You can find cheaper anvils that are just as good, if not better. Still, others find that the price of Peter Wright anvils is too high. Others find them too soft, and prefer a harder anvil. Some people prefer Peter Wright anvils because they are well-made and have a smooth surface. It depends on what you are looking for in an anvil, and what you are willing to pay. But are Peter Wright anvils good? There is no simple answer to this question. Anvils are an important tool for blacksmiths, and Peter Wright is one of the most well-known manufacturers. For some reason, the "Wright" that is below the "Peter" is upside down. I have not weighed it to verify but is a handful to pick up off the floor. If I am reading the markings correctly, they indicate it is 179lbs. China smart wall lights9/6/2023 Like actually all Govee products that we have already presented, the Govee Glide wall lamp can be adjusted not only with the included control unit. Smart control via app & voice recognition Here, mounting with screws would suit me more, because the adhesive strips loosen over time. On walls, you can mount the Govee Glide with the adhesive foils on the back, which are connected to the segments by Velcro. Unfortunately, Govee doesn’t offer any accessories, so if you want to expand your set, you’ll have to buy a new set. The straight light segments all look identical, so they can also be swapped and extended. When everything is running, each segment of the Glide should light up briefly and then light up permanently. The order of the segments does not matter, the only important thing is that the power supply is at the edge of the wall lamp. Nevertheless, when the modules are fixed, they hold very firmly. Fixing the individual segments is well thought out, but poorly implemented and requires some force. The segments have two different connections, which can be clipped into each other. It would have been nice if Govee had included a detachable power supply or a USB port with the Glide wall light, but instead a power supply that can be connected to the connector on the cable is included. The straight panels are 30 cm long and 3.5 cm wide, the corner panel is 6.5 cm long and wide and thus slightly shorter than the others. The Gove Glide is divided into six straight panels and one corner panel. Left: Corner segment and connector Right: Power supply unit with charging cable On top of that there is also small stuff in the form of operating instructions, the assembly instructions and the QR code for the app ( Android/ iOS). In addition to the corner segment, the larger box contains the control element for the wall light and the power supply with cable is in the smaller box. Inside the box are well-padded the six straight Glide segments and two other boxes. If you open the flap you can see the lettering “Thanks for Choosing Govee!”, a small detail that I like. The packaging is Govee typical in the color black, which makes the light of the products much more prominent. 6 straight Glide segments, 1 corner segment, control unit, power supply + cable, operating instructions, mounting instructions

PhotoSweeper and PowerPhotos are the only two apps I recommend for removing duplicated image files from a Photos library.Photosweeper’s homepage shows a huge list of features and benefits NOTE 3: deleting a photo from a Moment or Collection (the Photos window) or the All Photos window deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library. There is no key combination that will delete a photo from a project and move it directly to the Recently Deleted smart album. NOTE 2: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with the Delete key only deletes the photo from that item. NOTE 1: If you're using Photos 1.2 or earlier use the File ➙ Show Recently Deleted menu option.ģ - in the Recently Deleted album you can opt to let the photo automatically delete after the 30 day waiting period is up, delete them immediately or restore them to the library. Photos, Memories, Favorites, People, Recents, Imports, albums, smart albums or projects, select the photo(s) you want to delete and use the key combination of Command+Delete to move the photos to the Recently Deleted smart album.Ģ - click on the Recently Deleted smart albums in the sidebar. Pay particular attention to Note 2 and 3.ġ - regardless of where you are in the library, i.e. The following is how photos are deleted in a library. PhotoSweeper finds duplicate files in a library, not duplicate or separate occurrences of an image like in multiple albums. BUT if you let it delete the original photo, then all other occurrences of the photo that might be in albums will also be gone. (The album will have a pointer left that points to a deleted original and therefore can’t be displayed) Therefore I’m dismissing PhotoSweeper as a workable solution. Its “AutoMark” feature marks photos in albums or the actual original photo for deletion. PhotoSweeper - finds all duplicate photos regardless whether they are stored as the original photo or displayed in “Albums”. Now that I hopefully explained the problem, can you recommend a better duplicate remover that solves the issues outlined above.īTW - Neither of the two apps explain to a user that most likely they will loose tons of their photos (either originals or inside albums) by using their apps. In my case it identified ~5,000 duplicates for removal and I fret over deleting them with the apps mentioned. What should actually be happening is that if a duplicate is marked for deletion and includes pointers to the photo in one or more albums, a “symbolic link” or pointer from the marked photo to be deleted to the remaining original photo should be created before deleting the duplicate in order to preserve the “copies of the photo” that occur in “Albums” or all its pointers within albums should be remapped to the remaining original photo. Sofar so good, BUT lets say it marks photo #2 (the duplicate) for removal and a photo inside an “Album” points to photo #2 (the duplicate) then the photo in the “Album” will also be gone. Photos Duplicate Cleaner - seems to work smarter, it only looks for true duplicates inside the “originals” folder of the library, ignoring duplicates (pointers in the albums) It also AutoMarks duplicates from its discovery. Therefore I’m dismissing PhotoSweeper as a workable solution. BUT if you let it delete the original photo, then all other occurrences of the photo that might be in albums will also be gone. (The album will have a pointer left that points to a deleted original and therefore can’t be displayed) I’ve tried using the “PhotoSweeper” and “Photos Duplicate Cleaner” apps, but neither one removes duplicates correctly. Copies of these photos that are put in “Albums” are actually not photos but instead pointers back to the source photos. The “Photos” app stores the original photos in the “originals” folder and utilizes a sqlite DB to manage pointers to photos inside “Albums” Photos allows for creating “Albums” that are made up of photos stored in the top level “Photos Folder”. I’ve been struggling with finding the best method to delete duplicate photos within my “Photos Library”

Club head speed reader9/6/2023 Symbols played an important role in Viking culture. That makes the average male amateur driving efficiency to be 2.29 yards per mph of club head speed. The Nordic warriors even wore these as tattoos on their skin. Without a doubt, Valknut is one of the most famous and popular Viking symbols. Also known as Odin’s Knot and Hrungnir Heart, the three intertwined triangles are considered to be the symbol of Odin. Though golf equipment is some of the most technologically advanced in all of sports, we are often woefully behind the times when it comes to training. Unlike many of the gimmicks out there, this system actually works. The word “Valknut” is derived from two different words: “Valr” means “slain warrior” and “Knut” means “knot”.Īccording to Norse belief, Odin, the god of death and war in Norse mythology, would welcome the fallen warriors to Valhalla (the hall of the slain). Omnifocus 3 pro upgrade price9/6/2023 There’s also an extensive collection of Plug-Ins for OmniFocus on the Omni Automation website. Some of our favourites are in the OmniFocus Plug-In Directory. You can leverage Omni Automation by installing existing plug-ins. They’re also continuing to develop the Omni Automation API, extending what’s possible with OmniFocus plug-ins. Looking forward, Omni is introducing integration between Omni Automation on the iPhone and iPad. When macOS 12 “Monterey” launched in October, Omni was ready with Shortcuts support on the Mac, including integration between Shortcuts and Omni Automation. In addition to working hard on OmniFocus 4, Omni introduced updates to OmniFocus 3 that leverage new features introduced in iOS/iPadOS 15, including Live Text and Focus. To keep your finger on the pulse of OmniFocus 4 developments, I recommend following Ken Case on Twitter for further information as details of the launch come into focus. In the meantime, we’re hard at work behind the scenes preparing to deliver in-depth OmniFocus 4 articles, videos, courses and LIVE sessions to help you benefit from all that OmniFocus 4 has to offer. This will be followed by other milestones, namely Design Freeze, Usability, Stability & Performance, Documentation, and Localization. The roadmap didn’t include a specific OmniFocus 4 release date, but Ken Case shared on Twitter that the release is slated for “later this year.” He added that Omni expects to reach the Feature Freeze milestone this week. Omni first introduced this redesigned licensing system for OmniPlan 4, and OmniFocus 4 will leverage this development. It will no longer be necessary to purchase OmniFocus on each platform. This means that you’ll be able to purchase an OmniFocus 4 license and use it with your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Ken Case confirmed that OmniFocus 4 will be shipped simultaneously on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.įor the first time ever, OmniFocus 4 will be a Universal product. Omni is leveraging the benefits of SwiftUI, supporting their primary goal of “improving the flow of using OmniFocus.” Moving forward, the adoption of SwiftUI will also make it easier to provide feature parity across iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions of OmniFocus. OmniFocus 4 is built on SwiftUI, a technology from Apple that helps developers, in Apple’s words, “build great-looking apps across all Apple platforms.” The benefits of using SwiftUI will continue to be realized as Apple evolves this underlying technology with each OS update. Ken shared that this feedback prompted Omni to experiment with both the form and function of OmniFocus 4 and encouraged innovation. Since then, over 7,000 testers have accepted Omni’s invitation to join the OmniFocus 4 TestFlight and have been encouraged to provide feedback on all aspects of this major new version. OmniFocus 4 for iPhone and iPad has come a long way since we shared a first look in May 2021. Here are some highlights from Ken’s post that will be of particular interest to OmniFocus users. This post continues the annual tradition of celebrating highlights from the past year and provides a peek at what’s in store for the year ahead. Earlier today, Omni Group CEO Ken Case shared the Omni Roadmap 2022.

Beach and birds sounds9/6/2023 These are the characteristics of a bird that separate it from other species. Using size and shape, find the group or groups in your field guide that contain similar birds.ģ. Owls, herons, hummingbirds, doves and swallows are grouped in very different families. Identifying the group or family will narrow down your choices very quickly. Size and shape will help lead to the next identification clue – bird group.Ģ. For example, is it bigger or smaller than a sparrow? Is it shaped like a hawk or vulture? Is the head a similar shape to a Mallard? Include details such as a long or short tail, a thick or curved bill, webbed or singular toes. It may be helpful to compare what you see to a species you already know. Other clues include its behavior of excavating stags It is the largest of all the woodpeckers with a bright red crest. The size and shape of this Pileated Woodpecker make it easy to identify. This app will ask simple questions about what you saw and generate a list of likely matches. Another option for using technology is a bird identification app, such as Merlin Bird ID. Spend some time browsing the field guide to become familiar with species you may encounter in your yard. If you do not own one, download a field guide such as the Audubon app. Sometimes you only have a moment to gather information before the bird is gone. However, do not get so caught up in taking a photo that you miss the opportunity to really observe the bird and its behaviors and sounds. If you can take photos, they may be the best tool to assist with identification. For example, you may record these details about a Carolina Wren… smaller than a robin, buff brown above, butterscotch below, white eyebrow, signing loudly, pair in a tree.Ģ. Color, shape, size, field marks, behavior, sounds, etc. You may think you’ll remember but once you are presented with several similar options, you will be grateful for the reminders you recorded. Keep a small notebook to take notes on what you see and hear. No crest and a song like a robin, clues that it is NOT a Northern Cardinal.īefore you begin, gather a few items to assist with identification.ġ. It all started with that adorable Golden-crowned Kinglet, my “spark bird.”ĭon’t be fooled by this bright red Scarlet Tanager! It has black wings and tail, The bird world was so much more than cardinals, blue jays, robins and mallards. On the pond, I identified Lesser Scaup, Hooded Merganser and Ring-necked Duck. Soon I was identifying Dark-eyed Junco, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Wren and White-throated Sparrow. In my own neighborhood, an entire world of birds came alive. What else was out there that I had never noticed before? Turns out, a lot. I used the Audubon app field guide to identify this new discovery…a female Golden-crowned Kinglet. I had never seen anything like this before. Once I got home and could enlarge the images on a computer screen, I saw a tiny grayish-green bird with a bright yellow patch on its head. When I saw something land on the ground and hop around the ice, I aimed my camera and clicked away. When I first began birding, I didn’t own binoculars, so I took my long lens camera on a walk in my neighborhood on a winter afternoon. Look for clues to help you identify a bird.īirding is like an ongoing scavenger hunt. Luckily, there are simple ways to narrow down the possibilities. There are over 400 species of birds in Virginia. Sigma art 35mm f1 49/6/2023 I have used two of these lenses so far and both were really well centered. The MTF of this lens are noticeably higher on average compared to those of the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA and the sample variation is also significantly lower. It is hard to get decent numbers on sample variation, but the guys from Lensrentals actually measured a host of copies and put together these graphs. Sharpness Sample variation / Variance ©LensRentals/RCicala I did not shoot the lenses side by side, but was using roughly the same focus distance for both.Īs you can see the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art and the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA perform very similar in this category down to the obvious onion ring structures. It is recommended to have a look at this article first to get an idea how this brightness graph works. You can either correct this in Lightroom or directly in camera.įrom f/1.4 to f/2.0 these are very comparable to the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA, stopped down this Sigma shows about half a stop less vignetting. Wide open there is strong light falloff of roughly 2.9 EV, stopped down to f/2.0 this improves to 1.9 EV, stopped down to f/2.8 it is 1.1 EV and further improves to 0.7 EV at f/8.0. So at the distances I was mostly using this lens the cameras usually resorted back to face-detect mode.įor my type of shooting there is no tangible difference between this Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art and the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA, but depending on your shooting habits you may arrive at a different conclusion. If you primarily want to take pictures of running animals or small children you may come to a different conclusion.Įye-AF also works generally well, but you have to be close to your subject for the camera to actually recognize an eye in the frame (this is true for all wide angle lenses). I have only used the lens for slow moving adults and encountered no problems with the autofocus. The lens is available for quite some time now and so far I haven’t read any reports on these lenses failing, so the construction seems to be quite reliable. The E-mount version also features a rubber gasket on the bayonet. The outer barrel is made of high quality polycarbonate while most of the internal parts are made of metal, as lensrentals has shown in their teardown. I greatly prefer working with the Sigma due to AF/MF switch and linear manual focus though, but I would still prefer a GM lens with an added aperture ring and focus hold button. As both lenses are big and heavy to begin with I barely noticed this difference in the field. For transport it can be mounted reversed.Ĭompared to the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 ZA this Sigma lens is 8mm longer and 110g heavier. Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art with hood attachedĪ bayonet type lens hood is also part of the package. The lens further features an AF/MF switch but no other button and no aperture ring. To me this is good news, as coupled with the nice resistance of the focus ring this gives a nice manual focus experience, only the rather short focus throw of 90° spoils the game slightly. Unlike other native AF lenses for E-mount the Sigma lenses (except for the APS-C lenses and the 70mm 2.8 macro) feature a physical distance scale and a direct coupling of focus ring and internal mechanics. You can usually find the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art on /, B&H or / for about $770/749€ new or used for roughly 100 bucks less (affiliate links) Operation Handling Distance scale on Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art You may also have a look at the official page. It comes in many different mounts including Sony-E, which is the version reviewed here and has the following specifications: The Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art was the first lens of Sigma’s Global Vision lens lineup and the first lens of the Art series.

Peter pan tattoo minimalist9/6/2023 The color blend will mostly be chosen by those that are so much into art. When you need the coloring, you would best go for the basic black color though you can go for the blend of colors. They are also applied in different areas, so ensure that you choose your placement wisely. When you need such a tattoo, you will be sure to know the meaning of the character or everything that is included in it. The other characters can also be drawn with more colors or they can be drawn. Peter Pan can be drawn with the default green theme, with a green hat and a colored face. These tattoos can either be drawn with a blend of colors. Whether it is the quote alone, or the quote and another character of Peter Pan, you must be keen on the artist that you choose. They will be applied with a special meaning, but all in all, they will have something to do with the adventure. This could be the reason why Peter Pan is closely connected to the adventure. There is a connection between Peter Pan and the Greek mythology, which suggests that Peter usually mirrors Pan, who is the god of wildlife and hunting. These quotes can also be applied along with Peter Pan or a symbol of the character. They can be applied to the wrist, the arm, or anywhere else. In most cases, the quotes will be applied in areas that are visible enough to person. These quotes will be used as an inspiration to the person whenever they look at them. Here, the tattoo will have some quotes from the movie. You can also have the tattoos drawn in terms of a quote. It can show when Peter Pan is in action with Captain Hook. It may also be used as a way of appreciating the art. It is used to give the wearer the strength to overcome the fight against evil. The tattoo can also be used as a way of encouraging the person that they can stand strong against any challenge. It can be drawn as a simple tattoo or can be drawn with many other specifications. Generally, it is an image of the good and the bad or the evil. With this tattoo, it will entail Peter Pan with Captain Hook. This will also need an area with more skin. Since this one will also take a longer time, it might want you to be keen when choosing the tattoo artists. The tattoos can entail Pan and the boys flying over the city with the buildings included. These ones are used to show that a dream came true for the person applying them. It can be applied with the background, or might be drawn or might be drawn only with the characters. It may also represent the readiness in accepting the new challenges in life. It may represent unity, like in a family or a free spirit. This might be a tattoo used to take people to the world of fantasy. This will take some time to apply, so you might want to be keen on choosing the right tattooist. There can also be a tattoo that shows Peter Pan with her female character Wendy, along with the boys. Then tattoo can be used to show that the person is strong and will face anything that comes their way. Here, it may show that the person is now free to do whatever and that they are generally happy in their current life. The character can also be used to show that the person applying it is flashing back to a life that had limited fun. Peter Pan will have his wings flipping and also, he will look generally happy. This tattoo will display Peter Pan when he is flying and full of joy.
